On October 10 Evan and Rebecca did their first school presentation of the year at Stellys Secondary School for their comprehensive health and wellness days initiative.
There is a total of 18 presentation for the students through the year from various organizations and community partners. The Umbrella Society feels incredibly grateful to be part of this initiative and to be part of the program on opening day.
Throughout the year, each grade will cycle through the programs and each get time to attend our presentations.
Yesterday the focus was on two grade 12 classes and the engagement from the students was incredible.
A big thank you to Stellys’s Secondary School for having us be part of this incredibly important program .
