April 1 is a very special day at Umbrella.
This marks the day that Umbrella took over the operations of Foundation House from Vancouver Island Addiction Recovery Society in 2015.
We are limited with how we can celebrate this wonderful day due to COVID 19, so Umbrella pizza and pop being delivered to the FH residents for dinner tonight!
Over the past 5 years we have had some pretty amazing moments we are reflecting on:
Photo 1. In 2019 Umbrella was awarded Housing Provider of the Year award. A huge honour!
Photo 2. In October 2019 the Boston Bruins Alumni came and hung out with the guys and some staff.
Photo 3. The day Foundation House had a gorilla visit.
Photo 4. TJ! TJ left with his best friend and moved to Cooper House. Yesterday the two of them moved out on their own.
