On Friday, Evan and Rebecca delivered their final presentation of the year at St. Michael’s University School. Since the fall, Umbrella has had the privilege of presenting to all senior grade students at SMU (grades 9-12).
Joining the presentation were Dee Dee and Alicia, who work as school health promoters for Island Health.
We were also honored to have two very special students join us — past winners of the ‘Vital Youth Project,’ through which they were awarded money to donate to the Umbrella Society.
A big thank you to Richard Primrose, Assistant Director of St. Michael’s University School, for his continued support. Richard has been a huge supporter of Umbrella, organizing and collaborating with us on all of our presentations.
We are grateful to all the faculty and students for having us, and we look forward to seeing you again next fall!
