On Tuesday, January 21, Evan and Rebecca had the pleasure of presenting to a group of grade 12 students at Spectrum Community High School. Their presentation was about everything that Umbrella offers and how easy it is to reach out for support. Evan and Rebecca shared their personal stories of when they first used substances, when it started to become problematic, and their journey to recovery.
Christina, the Vice Principal, was so thrilled with the presentation that she’s expanding our future sessions to accommodate an additional 200+ students. The message of recovery and the work of the Umbrella Society was well received, and we look forward to seeing everyone at Spectrum Community High School again soon.
