August 31 was the last day in Umbrella’s second home, unit 8 -415 Dunedin.
This office move was a huge leap for us in 2018, we had been renting an office out at Quadra Village Community Centre and took a chance on a bigger space at Dunedin.
We started by only renting the downstairs, which we quickly grew out of, so we took over the upstairs as well.
About a year ago we knew we were bursting at the seams again, we had everyone sharing offices,
and the space couldn’t support the demand for services.
It was an emotional goodbye, we had a lot of fun, weird and happy memories in this space, and it was a pivotal moment in Umbrella’s history.
Our landlord Chris was the best landlord and we felt really fortunate to have had Dunedin to help us grow.
