Evan was joined by the mediator Mayor Marianne Alto and fellow panelists Dr Ashley Heaslip, Brent Johnston of Island Health and Lisa LaPointe, retired coroner to speak about the toxic drug crisis.
Evan hit home the fact that there are so many gaps for people wanting to make changes around their substance usage and how important recovery is in our community.
There was lots of great questions, conversations and messages that recovery is part of the solution.
